Getting Started
Creating an account on Chroma is easy:
- Click the "Sign Up" button in the top right corner of the homepage
- Enter your email address and create a password
- Verify your email address by clicking the link sent to your inbox
- Complete your profile information
- You're all set! You can now start uploading and managing your media
Chroma supports a wide range of file types across different categories:
- Images: JPG, PNG, GIF, WEBP, HEIC, SVG, RAW formats
- Videos: MP4, MOV, AVI, WMV, MKV, WebM
- Audio: MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, OGG, M4A
- Documents: PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, TXT, RTF
- Other: ZIP, RAR, and most common file formats
If you need support for a specific file type not listed here, please contact our support team.
Free accounts come with 5GB of storage space. This is enough to store:
- Approximately 2,500 high-quality photos
- About 5 hours of HD video
- Around 1,000 average-sized documents
If you need more storage, you can upgrade to one of our premium plans:
- Pro Plan: 100GB storage
- Business Plan: 1TB storage

Account & Settings
To change your password:
- Click on your profile picture in the top right corner
- Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu
- Go to the "Security" tab
- Click on "Change Password"
- Enter your current password and your new password twice
- Click "Save Changes"
For security reasons, we recommend using a strong, unique password that includes uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account. To enable it:
- Click on your profile picture in the top right corner
- Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu
- Go to the "Security" tab
- Find "Two-Factor Authentication" and click "Enable"
- Choose your preferred method (Authenticator app or SMS)
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup
Once enabled, you'll need to enter a verification code in addition to your password when signing in from a new device.
We're sorry to see you go! To delete your account:
- Click on your profile picture in the top right corner
- Select "Settings" from the dropdown menu
- Scroll to the bottom and find "Account Deletion"
- Click "Delete Account"
- Follow the confirmation steps
Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. All your files and data will be permanently removed from our servers. If you're having issues with Chroma, please consider contacting our support team before deleting your account.
Billing & Plans
To upgrade your plan:
- Click on your profile picture in the top right corner
- Select "Subscription" from the dropdown menu
- Click "Upgrade Plan"
- Choose the plan that best fits your needs
- Enter your payment information
- Click "Confirm Subscription"
Your new plan will be activated immediately, and you'll have access to all its features right away. You'll be charged prorated for the remainder of your current billing cycle.
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Here's how:
- Click on your profile picture in the top right corner
- Select "Subscription" from the dropdown menu
- Click "Cancel Subscription"
- Follow the prompts to confirm cancellation
When you cancel:
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
- You won't be charged again after that
- Your account will revert to the free plan at the end of your billing period
- If you exceed the free storage limit, you'll need to remove files or upgrade again
